The presentation was extremely dramatic, emotional and heartwarming. The favored
part by the majority of the fifth graders was "the lady and her last dollar."
Herbert Hoover was portayed as a humanitarian - which was important for the children
to understand. The factual detail was instrumental and allowed for great class discussion.
I thought it was quite interesting and appropriately geared to this age group. The
students seemed to enjoy it and learned a lot about the Hoovers.
